First the bad news – most of you might be aware of the HeartBleed bug that is taking the internet by storm. It is estimated that around 66% websites that are using OpenSSL are potentially compromised.
Next the good news – even though we have been using SSL since very beginning – ApnaComplex.com is not impacted by this bug – not now and never in past.
There are few web services that test any given url for presence of the HeartBleed vulnerability. Here is the result from one such service (http://filippo.io/Heartbleed/):
However, we strongly recommend you to change the password on ALL your online accounts – especially the key ones like – Banks, Social Media Accounts, Email Accounts and ApnaComplex.
Also, while changing passwords do keep in mind that it is really a bad practice to have same password across any two sites.
