First the bad news – most of you might be aware of the HeartBleed bug that is taking the internet by storm. heartbleedIt is estimated that around 66% websites that are using OpenSSL are potentially compromised.

Next the good news – even though we have been using SSL since very beginning – is not impacted by this bug – not now and never in past.

There are few web services that test any given url for presence of the HeartBleed vulnerability. Here is the result from one such service ( not impacted by Heartbleed

However, we strongly recommend you to change the password on ALL your online accounts – especially the key ones like – Banks, Social Media Accounts, Email Accounts and ApnaComplex.

Also, while changing passwords do keep in mind that it is really a bad practice to have same password across any two sites.
