Housing Society Safety Measures During the Kite Festival Celebrations

Organizing kite festival celebrations in your housing society can be a lot of fun. However, mishaps and loss of lives during the kite flying festival have often been reported in the press. It therefore makes sense to draw up a list of safety precautions and ensure that these are strictly followed during the kite festival celebrations at your apartment complex.

Safety Measures During Kite Festival Celebrations

(i) Children love to fly kites from terraces and roof tops. While this may be exciting, the element of danger increases. There have been several reported instances when people flying kites from terraces and roof tops have lost their balance and toppled over. So before the festival gets off to a start, draw up some ground rules. One option is to ban flying kites from roof tops and terraces. The second option is to appoint two or three people to patrol the roof tops, especially the areas where children are flying kites. They can keep an eye to ensure that the kids do not venture too close to the edge of the terraces.

(ii) The second danger during the kite flying festival comes from the manja that is used. Every often, the manja is manufactured using plastic and ground glass in order to give it a cutting edge. Sadly enough, these manjas have been responsible for killing people as they are sharp enough even to slash throats. Given the danger involved, specify the kind of manjas that can be used during the kite festival. Circulate the specifications well in advance so that people can buy the right kind of manja.

Kite Festival

(i) One of the problems with the kite festival is that it causes havoc among birds. Several birds fly right into the path of the kites and are severely injured. One way to avoid this is to adjust the timings of the kite flying festival. Make sure that residents of the apartment complex do not fly kites early in the morning or at dusk as this is the time when birds are very active. Again, a bit of advance planning and sufficient notice will ensure the co-operation of all the residents.

(ii) The kite festival may see the influx of visitors to the apartment complex as residents may invite their friends and relatives. Make sure that all of them are bonafide guests and not trouble makers trying to sneak in. Alert the security and instruct them to get verification from the residents concerned before allowing any strangers into the complex. Make alternate parking arrangements to ensure that the visitors’ cars do not create a traffic jam in the locality.

(iii) Make arrangements to deal with any medical emergencies that may arise. Have a doctor on call and keep one vehicle and driver on standby at all times.

(iv) The end of the kite flying festival can leave your apartment complex littered with broken and torn kites. These are not just unseemly but can also be a fire hazard. Make a plan regarding garbage clearance and implement it as soon as the festivities are over.

With a few basic precautions, you can organize a safe kite festival in your apartment complex.

Announcing launch of Gatekeeper – An Innovative Apartment Security Solution by ApnaComplex

ApnaComplex is very happy to launch “Gatekeeper” – an android based for Visitor Tracking System in Apartment Complexes and Gated Communities. This innovative system works in online as well as offline mode to handle situations where internet connectivity could be an issue at the security gates.

Gatekeeper by ApnaComplex lOGO

Security in Apartment Complexes – Concerns

Security is one of the main reasons why people prefer to buy (or rent) a flat in Apartment Complexes and Gated Communities. By design, Apartments are expected to offer better security as Apartment Associations can afford to hire security agencies to provide round the clock security in the property. There are many aspects to the security in Apartment Complexes – the key one being tracking entry and exit of Visitors into the Apartment premises.

Most apartments employ a “visitor’s register” – a log book where a visitor is expected to make an entry to record details of the flat she is visiting, and the purpose of the visit etc. This is surely one of the dispensable processes as it practically makes no difference if an entry is made or not. The entry does not validate anything from the visitor. Even worse, the log maintained is never audited for any accuracy – any attempts to do that will generally prove futile as data is illegible, incomplete and mostly inaccurate in almost all the societies. The security staff just ensures that the entry is made as a routine with out really validating its accuracy. Also, due to the paper-based nature of the log, its not possible to analyse the data. For example, things like identifying frequent visitors, list of visitors to a given flat in last 6 months is almost impossible for committee members.

Gatekeeper by ApnaComplex – Introduction

Gatekeeper is an innovative solution which addresses the challenges mentioned above regarding visitors tracking. Gatekeeper offers the following functionality:

  • Easy interface that can be operated by security staff (for example, the access to the android app is controlled by PIN number instead of typing complex passwords every time)
  • Ability to record visitors – automatically pre-populate details of frequent visitors based on the mobile number
  • Take picture of visitor’s vehicle or visitor
  • Send a verification code to the visitor’s phone number to ensure the phone number is valid
  • Quickly look up residents of the flat the visitor is meeting – this helps in validation – also SMS can be sent to the residents with details of visitors
  • Generate visitors pass and record exits

The most important aspect of Gatekeeper is its ability to run stand alone without internet connection and sync up with master database as and when internet connection is made available. Most societies have difficulty in getting internet connection at the security gate for various reasons. While one of the reason is surely cost related to providing an internet connection, the other reason for not enabling internet access to security is a potential misuse of the internet facility.

This is where Gatekeeper’s unique advantage comes in. Gatekeeper can work with out internet connection most of the time. Gatekeeper needs internet connection at the time of installation to populate the client side application with master data as a part of setup. The master data for a given community is picked up from the ApnaComplex server. Once setup, Gatekeeper need not have access to internet. Gatekeeper can store all visitor’s details on the tablet / mobile device – when internet is not available. Once internet is made available (for example, by bringing the tablet in vicinity of the society office’s wifi) Gatekeeper will automatically initiate sync up of all visitors passed to the server.

Gatekeeper is exciting. How do I get one for my society?

Please contact our team with your interest. Please do not forget to mention if you are an existing customer of ApnaComplex! We will get back to you on the costing and how you can get started.

Yet another instance of true innovation from ApnaComplex.com – be it bringing real-time balance sheet, or having bio-metric devices for staff attendance, or making society software accessible on mobile phones – we continue to raise the bar in this space!

The Advantages of a Biometric Attendance System – A Look at the Perks

In this age of cutting-edge Technology and Science, Biometric technology is gradually becoming a useful tool with a bunch of myriad applications. Biometrics technology can be found everywhere: in schools, companies, organizations, libraries and offices, irrespective of the size of the organization.
Biometric Attendance systm

The Advantages of the Biometric System Over Conventional Systems

The type of applications that can be implemented through the Biometric technology is diverse, ranging from visitor management service to face recognition systems. Electronic attendance is one of the biggest advantages of the Biometrics technology, and it is a great help in maintaining a procedure and security levels.

This biometric time attendance is generally used to maintain a record of each and every visitor coming into your apartment and to track down whether he or she really is the person who is supposed to come. A face recognition system can be installed to cross-check the person’s identity and maintain his check-in time and check-out time along with other details.

The Biometric attendance system has a lot of advantages over the conventional methods of security that are usually implemented at your place. Maintaining a register where people manually note down their entry and exit timings might have flaws sometimes, and it is also time consuming. The biometric system erases the possibility of any error and it is quite efficient.

How can you Secure Your Home With Biometric Security

The technology has evolved into a very user-friendly system that can be used by anybody. The process is very fast as the user has to just glance towards the biometric face recognition system, and all the details will be recorded automatically and accurately. The possibilities of buddy punching, early punching and late punching can be carried out with a lot of ease.

The biggest advantage of the Biometric attendance systems in homes and apartments is the amount of security it provides. Business organizations can integrate the biometric system to their account systems, billing systems and payroll systems.

The Biometric Security Advantages

Home security is a major concern in the present day world considering the alarming rate of crime and burglary taking place. With the new range of biometric security systems such as alarm systems, EM door locks, video door phones and fingerprint RFID door locks your home is totally safe and secure.

You don’t have to worry about leaving your house for a long vacation. The biometric processing is an entirely machine to machine process and hence the processing is faster and better.

Why Should you Get It?

Biometric attendance system is a more refined way of managing security in your apartment. This system also has a database where all the details of the visitors can be stored. Biometric security is easy to maintain and more accurate in pointing and alarming you in case of threats.

The face recognition or the fingerprint reader system can be installed in your home. These systems are easily accessible now-a-days and come at an affordable price. Moreover, when it comes to the maintenance of the security in your home, you should not compromise on the quality of service.

All you wanted to know about Home Automation for Apartments

This a guest post from Mr. Hariharan of Zee Sense Systems – provider of Home Automation Products.

What is Smart Home or Home Automation?

We live in a world that is increasingly DIGITAL, SMART and CONNECTED. The combination of sensors and the internet is accelerating this transformation, making everything smarter – our homes, offices, home care, energy conservation, industrial automation, logistics, security and other areas. A Smart Home is an inherent part of this transformation that provides its home owners security, safety, comfort, energy efficiency and convenience at all times.

Home Automation (HA) Market

Home Automation is not new – it has been around for many years in the developed countries and is now driven by proven, mature standards, products and solutions. Home automation goes way beyond video door phones and gas leak detectors. In India, awareness of Home Automation is just picking up and price points have dropped to a level where we are seeing the market moving from the exclusive VHNI bungalows into the mainstream apartment and villa segments. Projects with bundled Home Automation are being announced – i.e., the per sft price includes Home Automation features that come as part of the apartment or villa. Demand is also bolstered by customers motivated to buy Home Automation by changing lifestyles, nuclear families, exposure to western lifestyles, increasing concerns about safety and security etc.

Benefits of Home Automation – Sample scenarios

I am sure you are itching to ask: All this is fine, but what does Home Automation do for me? Is it of practical use or is just a showpiece toy? While there is some ‘status’ and ‘show’ value attached to Home Automation as a bonus, it definitely has several practical benefits – sample scenarios below:

  • Someone attempts to break into your house through a door or a window – immediate detection, loud alarm and SMS alerts can protect your home.
  • Someone is on the terrace or balcony, checking out your home for intrusion. His presence is detected and alarm + email/SMS alerts are raised even before he touches the door, preventing potential intrusion and loss.
  • The above alerts are also raised at the security office of your apartment complex, you’re your apartment details, prompting immediate investigation by trained security staff.
  • Gas leak, smoke or fire detection enables timely corrective action to prevent damage to your property and save your loved ones.
  • Your aged parent has some problem; he/she can just press a button on a small device on her wrist or neck to raise the SMS alert for you, and to your neighbor, security staff, doctor etc.
  • You start playing a movie on your home theater – immediately the curtains draw and lights dim to create the ideal ambience for you to enjoy the movie.
  • Someone rings the door bell –you are alerted wherever you are, you can see who is at the door and even open the door for him from your office or anywhere.
  • It is 6:30am in the morning – the Home Automation system automatically plays suprabhatam, draws the curtains in your bedroom to wake you up in a soothing manner; and also switches on the water heater for your shower.
  • You open the toilet door and the lights come on automatically; and, they switch off after you leave! Convenience and power savings combined.
  • You can switch on the AC in your bedroom before you leave office or as you approach your home, so that the room is cooled before you reach home.
  • Many, Many more scenarios are possible.

So, you are getting interested, but some doubts linger – Let me address them:

Q: I like it, but can I afford it?
A: Home Automation packages start as low as Rs 18,000/=

Q: Is it too difficult to use?

A: You get a variety of interfaces to chose from – Touchscreens, Remote controls, Keypads, Laptops, wireless switches – you chose the interface that you like best. Older people can even have physical switches while younger people use their smartphones.

Q: What if the Home Automation system breaks down? Will I lose my lights and be in darkness
A: With the right Home Automation system, basic functionality such as lighting control and security will work even in the remote occurrence of the controller breaking down.

Q: I have already moved into my apartment. Can I install the Home Automation system in it without chipping walls or having ugly cables all over?

A: Yes, you can definitely retrofit without chipping walls; provided you chose a wireless Home Automation system.

Q: Can I start small (maybe with security) and grow incrementally as I get more comfortable or as I can spend more later?
A: Yes, you can; provided you chose a wireless Home Automation system.

Q: What if my needs change? Can the Home Automation system easily address my future needs?
A: The mood setting and other scenes are configured in the controller and can be changed easily to adapt to your changing needs. Lighting control can be changed easily without any cabling changes if you have gone for a wireless Home Automation system.

Q: Who should I talk to?
A: There are people offering cheap solutions and those offering very expensive ones.

Q: How do I chose?
A: Talk to Home Automation providers who understand the technology, can configure the system and integrate it with other components, while keeping it all simple for you. Ensure that the Home Automation system covers all aspects of Home Automation (security, safety, lighting etc) in an integrated manner, even if you don’t need it all today. Avoid fly-by-night operators who tempt you with a ‘cheap’ product. Check if the product is standards based – proprietary products tie you down and cut down your choices. Say no to wires, even if your home is under construction. Go with a wireless Home Automation system that is based on global standards and offers various advantages (some discussed above).

We hope this article has helped you understand what is Home Automation, what it does for you and how you can go about getting one for yourself without breaking your FDs. So, go ahead – go beyond thought and into HOME AUTOMATION action!!

Enhancements to Staff Attendance Tracking: Easily Track Attendance in Night Shifts and Shift Change Overs

We are happy to release a major enhancement to our unique offering of Staff Attendance Tracking integrated with Bio-metric finger print readers.

All along our attendance reports were “day based” where the attendance calculations were based on a calander day. Due to this administrators had to manually adjust the attendance records of staff who worked in night shifts.

In a Housing Society, the security and maintenance staff rarely stick to a ‘pre-defined’ schedule of shifts and the staff keeps randomly chaging over making it very difficult for staff supervisors to identify records that need to be changed for night shifts.

With the new enhancements released,

  • Staff Administrators can easily track the attendance of the staff working in Night Shifts where the IN time and OUT time are across different dates with out any manual changes to the attendance data.
  • It is common for staff to work continuous shifts and take a day off when shift changeover happens. With this enhancement the reporting automatically takes into consideration and gives the ‘Total working hours’ in a given date range.
  • For any manual inserts or updation of a attendance record, the attendance tracking tool smartly converts the rest of the records of that user with appropriate IN/OUT.
  • Any consecutive INs/OUTs are highlighted for the admin to rectify.

Visit Directory->Maintenance Staff->Attendance Summary to see the new reports and new calculations. You can also see the link the old report, should you have a need.

Housing Society Security – Steps to Enforce During New Year’s Eve

New Year Eve is a time for revelry and merry making. But it does make sense for your housing society to take a few basic precautions to ensure that the celebrations do not go out of hand. Problems caused by excessive alcohol intake, too much of loud music, the nuisance of fire crackers and a lack of security due to revelers coming into your residential complex are some of the basic issues that most housing societies face during New Year’s eve.safe new years

Most of these problems can be avoided with a bit of advance planning. Regulations should be issued well in advance and circulated around the housing society. Here are a few steps that can help ensure that New Year celebrations do not go out of control.

Steps for a Fun but Safe New Year’s Eve

(i) Get everybody on board as far as your “Safe New Year” campaign is concerned. There is no point in the housing society management issuing guidelines arbitrarily. Call a meeting and seek everybody’s co-operation. Discuss the troubles that normally arise and ask for suggestions to deal with it. Getting everybody involved will lead to greater success.

(ii) While you cannot enforce the number of guests each resident can invite, you can definitely keep track of which apartment each visitor to the complex is entering. Issue gate passes to your residents. They can pass these on to their invited guests. The guests will be allowed into the housing society only if they have their gate passes. This will eliminate the possibility of troublemakers entering your complex

(iii) Keep a time limit as far as playing of loud music and bursting of fire crackers is concerned. While there are definitely going to be fireworks at midnight, request residents to avoid the noisy ones. Also ensure that fire extinguishers are in place and in working condition to avoid mishaps.

(iv) Arrange for some kind of medical back up. Accidents and binging on alcohol can raise medical emergencies during New Year’s eve. It makes sense to keep a doctor on call to deal with any emergency situation that may arise.

(v) Residents normally like to light up their homes with decorative lights on New Year’s eve. This can cause power to trip. Ensure that an electrician appointed by the housing society checks all the connections in the apartments to ensure that there is no danger of short circuits.

(vi) Ask your residents to take responsibility for any guests who may have drunk too much. The host should see that the drunken guest does not get behind the wheel of the car. Excessive drinking can lead to loutish behavior and residents should be held responsible for the behavior of their guests.

(vii) Make a list of dos and don’ts well before New Year’s eve and circulate it among your guests. Put up notices in all public areas so that even the guests who arrive are aware of the regulations.

With a few basic precautions, it is possible to have a fun and safe New Year celebration. So go ahead and enjoy!

The Importance of Apartment Terrace Safety

Apartment Complex terraces can be compared to oxygen tanks in the backdrop of rising urban congestion and population. While the scarcity of space is becoming increasingly inevitable, children and the elderly are affected majorly, due to lack of areas for play and recreation.Terrace safety

Some housing societies may provide small play areas for children; however, since these complexes have large terraces, these wide and open spaces can be very alluring to children who are constantly on the lookout for play and recreation areas. For this reason, safety measures for terraces should be taken and followed in a housing society.

General Terrace Safety Measures That Can Be Taken

Certain guidelines need to be followed keeping in mind the safety of the children who constantly play in areas like the housing society terrace.

  • The parapet wall has to be at least 1.5 meters high.
  • Durable and sturdy iron railings can be planted over the parapet wall, to additionally discourage children from climbing the wall.
  • Children or infants may slip through the railings if they are planted right at the base for extra visibility. Therefore, the height of the parapet wall is an important factor.
  • Accessibility should be restricted and the door to the terrace should be locked. All housing society members may come to an agreement about a particular time of the day when the terrace can be accessed.
  • The keys to the terrace can be left with a security guard, who can be stationed near the terrace. Alternatively, every family may be given their own set of keys, so that individual access is possible. However, in that case, parental supervision becomes imperative for all residents.
  • If a common time is earmarked for the use of the terrace, either for early morning walks or evening strolls and games, safety measures will be easier to enforce. Other than security personnel, some volunteers may be chosen to supervise the terrace during these times.
  • The terrace floor needs to be kept clean and there should be some anti-skid mechanism in place. Water accumulation, moss and the growth of fungus can pose a fatal threat to users.

Housing Society Terrace Gardens

Many housing societies, in an attempt to compensate for the lack of greenery in their surrounding areas, construct roof-top gardens, and these gardens have ecological and practical benefits. They provide a much needed dash of greenery in the concrete jungle. Roof top gardens prevent the building from absorbing too much heat, by cutting down the terrace’s exposure to the sun and radiation.

These roof top gardens very often constitute of not only plants but also outdoor furniture and they offer a space of entertainment and relaxation to residents and their guests.

If your housing society houses a terrace garden, care should be taken to ensure that there are no provisions through which children can climb parapet walls. Chairs and tables should be placed strategically away from the walls or railings.

A coating of anti-climbing paint (when used on the inner and outer parts of the parapet wall) can be sufficient to prevent anybody from climbing the wall and exposing themselves to danger. These paints remain indefinitely slippery and provide additional safety for terraces.

You can bring up these points during an apartment association meeting, so that the apartment association can arrange for such measures to be taken.

Housing Society Security – Security Measures During Navratri

Security measures needs to be tightened in every housing society for internal safety during the Navratri festival. During the nine days of festivities most people come out of their houses to participate in the garba and dandiya dance that’s held within the complex.

This dance event commences in the night and continues till the wee hours of the morning, so it is all the more necessary to provide proper security during this festival.

Security measures during navratri

Security Measures to be Taken Before Navratri

Some common security measures need to be enforced during Navratri as general resident movement with the housing society will be at an all-time high during this nine day festival. A few security measures that can be taken up are:

  • Prior to the commencement of the Navratri festival, a complete identity check of all guards should be conducted and a photograph of those working within the housing society should be recorded and kept handy.
  • Another important measure is that all outsiders who enter the housing society need to mention their names, surnames, the purpose of their visit and whom they’re there to meet.
  • The guards need to contact the person staying in a particular apartment (through the intercom telephone system) and inform him about the guest. Only after the guard receives a nod from the resident should the guard let the guest enter the complex.
  • Car parking must be strictly monitored and every person having a space in the parking lot needs to display the parking sticker before being allowed into the society.
  • Many residents may order food from outside. In such cases, it is always advisable to first inform the resident and then send the person to the apartment.
  • Burglar alarm systems can be installed in individual apartments within the housing society. Prior to Navratri, a proper check must be conducted to ensure that all alarm systems operate properly.
  • Food and vegetable vendors and other people looking to sell wares should be evaluated and not everyone allowed into the housing complex.
  • In many houses, laborers or workers may be hired for repair work. Such people should not be allowed to enter the housing society before, during and immediately after the Navratri festival.
  • A complete identity check of all tenants must be conducted, especially before the Navratri festival.
  • During the apartment association meeting, residents should be advised to maintain a keen eye and in case there’s any space for suspicion, the same should be immediately reported to the apartment association.
  • Identity cards can be issued to maids, cooks, laundry boys and other daily workers who enter the society. This is a long term solution that can help the apartment association maintain proper security within the housing society throughout the year.

Prevention is always better than cure, so it is always advisable that guards as well as residents take an extra effort to enforce as well as abide by the strict security rules imposed during the Navratri festival.

Essential Services In A Housing Society – Things To Consider When Hiring The Staff

Any housing society will need a good service staff so that its residents find it easier to get their job done. Along with a good set of people who can take care of the apartment’s maintenance, the apartment association should also hire security guards and housekeeping staff, as these are key roles that need to be filled.

Members of the apartment association will find that they have a multitude of options in hand, when it comes to hiring security personnel and housekeeping staff. They should list out all their options and try and get the best bargains, so that they can keep their overall expenditure minimal.

Choosing A Security Agency:

When it comes to selecting the right security agency, there are many factors that the association in a housing society can consider to get a good bargain:

  • The reliability quotient involved with the security agency. Some agencies will be well known and they’ll offer their services to apartment complexes and commercial regions all around town. These agencies can be considered first and their offers compared.
  • The managing committee should check whether the number of shifts that the security agency provides is adequate. Some security agencies might send two guards through the day, while other might send three.
  • While hiring security personnel, it’s important to take their experience into account. Security men with proper training will be able to respond to threats in a more effective manner.
  • The versatility of such security personnel can also be considered. They should be able to support the maintenance crew if there are any sudden problems, and they should also know how to administer first aid if there are any accidents within the complex.
  • The roles of these security guards should be made clear firstly, and their many tasks should be correctly specified. Details on whether they have to guard the gate and take note of all outside vehicles that enter the housing society should be put down.

Choosing The Housekeeping Staff:

Consider All Your Housekeeping Options

Consider All Your Housekeeping Options

A housing society can either have its own housekeeping staff or it can let the residents choose their staff for themselves. Having a standard housekeeping staff is better, because the staff members will be known and familiar individuals, bringing down security concerns by a great margin.

The following factors should be considered so that the association can get a good bargain:

  • The tasks of the housekeeping staff need to be listed down. Housekeeping services in India include washing, sweeping, cleaning and dusting services so these should all be taken into account.
  • The working hours of these individuals should also be properly specified.
  • Their monthly salaries and any bonuses that should be given during the festive season should be noted.
  • The number of days that the housekeeping staff can take leave should also be mentioned.

Once all these factors are taken into account and the many options are considered, it’ll be easier for a housing society to choose the right personnel for good rates.

Vehicular Management In A Housing Society – What You Can Do About It

People normally envision a housing society as a peaceful and serene complex, sans the maddening traffic that the outside roads are filled with. This is true to an extent, but sometimes housing societies and gated communities also fall prey to excessive vehicular traffic due to many reasons.

Reasons For Heavy Traffic

Managing the traffic during such instances becomes very important, and proper steps should be taken before things get out of hand. There are certain instances when vehicular traffic in a housing society can hit an all-time high and these are:

  • During the peak morning hours when residents start for work
  • During the evening hours when they return home
  • During any events and festivals like New Year’s Eve
  • During instances when outside traffic gets diverted within a housing society

Traffic during the peak morning and evening hours is understandable, but traffic during the other instances can be brought under control.

Traffic Signs Are Useful

Traffic Signs Are Useful

Steps To Manage Traffic In A Housing Society

There are certain steps that members of the managing committee can be taken in order to manage the vehicular traffic within a housing society. Some of these are:

Following A One Way System

All roads in a housing society can be made one-way so that there is no congestion within the complex. One gate in the housing society can be used as an entry point and another gate can be used as an exit point to make things easier.

Blocking Outside Vehicles Through Security Guards

Turning all roads into one-way lanes will also help in keeping a tab on the vehicles that enter the complex and exit the same. Sometimes outside vehicles may enter the complex looking for short cuts, and these can be stopped effectively. A security guard can be posted near the gate for this purpose to take note of the vehicles that are entering the housing society. All vehicles owned by housing society members can be provided with ID stickers and numbers, so that it’s easy to filter out the residents’ vehicles and outer vehicles.

Providing Prior Information About Parties

Residents can provide prior information about any parties that they’re hosting and the expected number of vehicles, so that the security guard near the gate has a good idea on who to let in.

Installing Speed Bumps

Things can turn worse when vehicles start speeding on the housing society’s lanes. This can be stopped by fixing up speed breakers and speed bumps at ideal spots so that vehicles can’t accelerate beyond a point. Speed limits can also be set up within the complex, similar to the speed limits within the city.

Installing Road Signs

There are many places in a housing society where vehicles should move in a slow manner. Places like playgrounds and tot lots are strongholds where children play, and adequate road signs should be installed in such places. This can help in minimizing the number of accidents and also in managing the traffic well.  Signs can also be provided for direction, so that the traffic flow within the complex is smooth even during peak hours.
